After a visit to the FBI and a verbal meeting with police officers, the actor returned home to find a huge military vehicle near his home.

This comes just days after police and FBI agents were spotted in the area due to the devastating Pacific Palisades fire. Most recently, a sand-colored military Humvee equipped with a turret for mounting heavy artillery was seen parked near Affleck's home.

The actor was photographed calmly driving past the vehicle, looking unfazed by the unusual sight. A uniformed military officer was standing next to the Humvee, but the actor did not interact with the military.

According to TMZdespite the proximity to his home, the military deployment has nothing to do with Affleck personally.

The National Guard has been deployed to the area to support firefighting efforts as the Pacific Palisades wildfire continues to rage, burning more than 23,000 acres and destroying Malibu and beyond.

Because Affleck's home is near the edge of the evacuation zone, an increased security presence is part of ongoing efforts to protect the community and contain the fire.

Earlier this week, FBI agents were seen at Affleck's Brentwood home investigating a drone incident involving a collision with a firefighter plane.

Despite the presence of federal agents, sources told the news outlet that Affleck is not under investigation and has no legal issues related to the situation.

Just days after the FBI visit, photographers captured the “Gone Girl” actor in what appeared to be a heated exchange with local police officers.

In the video, Affleck pulls up to two police officers parked near his driveway, rolls down the window of his BMW and looks visibly upset as he expresses concern about security officers in the area.

Although the exact details of the conversation are unclear, Affleck appeared upset by what he described as an unnecessary intrusion by private security.

After a brief but tense discussion, the mood gradually eased, and Affleck calmly drove away.

Tensions remain high in the neighborhood due to the nearby Palisades wildfire, which has led to evacuation orders and reports of looting in the affected areas.

Although Affleck's home is located just outside the mandatory evacuation zone, heightened security and limited access for local residents have caused ongoing problems.
