“Please don't project your thoughts onto me. I don't think Sexyy Red is 'degenerate' or 'ghetto' or 'trash'. I've talked about one of my parents in the past and comparing myself to one of my parents to denigrate other people .I just don't understand this kind of use of my father (#MLKDay, no less) in a way that doesn't convey what we know about his service and sacrifice. Even if you don't agree with him or his tactics or even believe what the people who hated him say about him why do that?

Although the photo was apparently removed as requested by Bernice King, Sexyy Red has not commented on the call. Instead, she continued to post on X and other social platforms as usual and steadily responded to a special request from Bruno Mars!
