Bikini Bean Coffee has released a statement after the employee was filmed Nautica Malone no pants on a ride in Tempe, Arizona. TMZ reports that the video quickly went viral and that Malone later self-harmed. Nautika Malone reportedly died Saturday, Jan. 11, of a suspected self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, reports New York Daily News.

Bikini Bean Coffee Speaks After Customer Dies
Bikini Beans Coffee shared a message on the site X (formerly on Twitter) on Tuesday, January 14, in response to Nautika Malone's passing. The Java chain offered its prayers to the Malone family, but stressed that protecting its employees remains its top priority.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the person involved at this difficult time. This was an unfortunate and tragic situation. As a company, the safety of our employees is always our top priority. In this case, an individual chose to commit a crime at one of our locations. We take incidents like this very seriously. seriously and remain committed to protecting our team and maintaining a safe and respectful environment. Thank you for your continued support.”

Nautica Malone's death came just days after the incident at the Bikini Beans Coffee drive-thru. According to TMZ, Malone arrived at the drive-thru without his pants on, and the clerk noticed his lack of clothing while taking the order. The employee then alerted the manager when Malone appeared at the window naked from the waist down.
The manager may have recorded a video of him at the drive-up window while he engaged in sexual activity. The video was later shared on social media, leading to accusations of inappropriate behavior against Malone. After responding, Malone drove to Goodyear, Arizona, and took his own life with a firearm, according to the Maricopa County medical examiner. TMZ also reported that on the night of Malone's death, his family showed up at the coffee shop and confronted staff. The family claimed Malone's suicide was a direct result of the incident.
