Is Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift's rivalry turning into a full-blown feud?

That's the question fans are asking after Billie appeared to throw slight shade at Taylor's Eras Tour during a recent livestream.

Billie has indicated that she will not be hosting any three-hour concerts. And she seemed to condemn artists (like Taylor) who do just that.

Did Billie Eilish shade Taylor Swift?

“Nobody wants that,” Billie remarked, according to Page six. “You don’t want that, guys. I don't want that. I don't even want that as a fan.

“Even my favorite artists, I don't try to listen to them for three hours. It’s way too long,” she added.

On X (formerly Twitter) and other platforms, Swifties applauded Billie's remarks. They noted that many fans TO DO I want marathon concerts.

"Millions of people seem to want this, but hey," a user wrote.

“It's weird to say that when all the shows were sold out and even made into a movie, people bought tickets to see it too, so saying 'no one wants that' is a complete lie,” another added.

Other users came to Billie's defense and pointed out that she never mentioned Taylor by name.

In fact, she's been known to praise Taylor, Beyoncé and others for their ability to put on massive stadium shows.

“The fact that they can put on a show this long, and have it filled with so many incredible moments, is truly incredible,” Billie exclaimed. Los Angeles Times in 2023.

This isn't the first time Billie has been accused of throwing subtle shade at Taylor.

Billie appeared to criticize Taylor for releasing multiple versions of the same album

“We live in a time where, for some reason, it's very important for certain artists to make all kinds of different vinyls and packaging,” Billie said in an interview with Billboard.

She noted that this practice “increases sales, numbers and makes them more money” but is bad for the environment due to “waste” packaging.

Many fans speculated that the comments were inspired by Taylor's decision to release bonus content on the same day Billie's latest album hit stores.

Eilish clarified that she did not intend to “target anyone,” noting that the practice is an “industry-wide systemic problem.”

“Okay, it would be so awesome if people stopped putting words in my mouth and actually read what I say,” she wrote on Instagram.

“As for variations, many artists post them, including me, which I clearly state in the article.”

Taylor has not responded publicly to any of these alleged shames. But if we're lucky, maybe she'll clap in song form.
