In a statement, Lively's lawyers claimed that Baldoni “improvised” the scene and made the actress uncomfortable because there was allegedly no prior discussion.

The lawyers said: “Every moment, Mr. Baldoni improvised without prior discussion or consent, and without an intimacy facilitator. Mr. Baldoni was not only Ms. Lively's co-star, but also the director, studio executive, and Ms. Lively's boss.”
