Nikki Glasser is not a stranger making controversial jokesbut there's one “hot button” issue she doesn't plan to address while she's hosting 2025 Golden Globe Awards.
“I think so Blake Lively–Justin Baldoni the case is so pressing right now that even a simple mention will make it seem like I might be on the wrong side, when I never am,” Glasser, 40, said. Yahoo! Entertainment on Thursday, January 2. “I don't want to say his name (weight) either.”
She added: “I'm mad that I even know his name, to be honest with you, so I don't have to say it anymore.”
Lively, 37, named Baldoni, 40, in December 2024 trialaccusing him of sexual harassment and fostering a “hostile work environment” during the filming of 2024. It ends with us. Lively also claimed that Baldoni caused her “severe emotional distress” and attempted a campaign of “social manipulation” to destroy her reputation, allegedly in an effort to protect her image.

Lively and Baldoni's legal battle inspired several Hollywood stars, including Kate Beckinsale and Abigail Breslinto come forward with their stories of alleged wrongdoing in the industry.
However, Glaser doesn't plan to include any controversial hot spots in her opening monologue on Sunday.
“There are some people we all know who don't have a sense of humor about themselves, and if I make that person laugh, it shows the people in the room, 'Okay, it's safe to laugh,'” the comedian. told Diversity on Thursday. “I had a joke that I don't think will be the last monologue: 'The camera will be on you. Pro tip: Just laugh. It's a really good way to endear yourself to the audience at home.”
Glazer added, “I don't understand why the publicists haven't told them that. When you laugh at a joke about yourself, you look so friendly, so cool, so attractive. I'm trying to help you. That way you don't have to play Hip-Hop Hopscotch with Jimmy Fallon, to look relatable.
