Brad Womack shares the last time he interacted with ex Emily Maynard

Brad Womack revealed that he was in contact with his ex-fiancée Emily Maynard “one time” after their breakup.

“I'm a very, very respectful guy when it comes to situations and when someone is in a relationship,” Womack, 52, said on Monday, January 20. “Almost Famous” podcast. “I remember when I heard she was getting married and I reached out and said, 'Hey, I'm really happy for you.'

Womack claimed that The Maynard Marriage to Tyler Johnson 2014 was “exactly what she wanted”. (Maynard, 38, and Jones welcomed children Jennings, Gibson, Gatlin, Nola, and Jones in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2020, and 2022, respectively. “She wanted a marriage, a beautiful family, and she has it all and then some,” Womack said.

Womack called Maynard “extremely captivating,” saying that “she's pure to the core, just an extraordinary person.”

“She's a little elusive,” Womack said. “I don't think she needs much. And I think in that complimentary way, when I think I'm kind of a sellout, I'll do anything. I'm kidding.”

Womack said he admires the way Maynard “carries himself,” noting that “what you see is what you get.”

Womack asked Maynard a question in time 15th season Bachelorwhich was shown in 2011. Months after the finale aired, the couple called off their engagement in June 2011. Maynard became the Bachelor 2012 and accepted a proposal from Jeff Holm. Maynard and Holm announced their separation in October 2012.

“When we got back into the real world, we realized very quickly that we were two different people,” Womack said Monday. “I think I'm a little rough and she's extremely refined. Again, I say that as a compliment. And when I look at her from the sidelines, watching and seeing the life she has created and built, I couldn't be happier.

While Womack said his time with Maynard was “short,” he said he “really enjoyed” his time with Maynard. Womack added: “She's got a pure soul, you know what I mean? I really enjoyed my time with her. Unfortunately, things didn't work out and here we are.

Since her split with Maynard, Womack has been tight-lipped about her relationship status. On January 1, Womack hard launched novel with a woman in the name Gabriella.
