Brandi Glanville defends her holiday plan of choice

At the end of the day Brandy Glanville prioritizing family above all else, especially this holiday season.

The reality star is baring her mind after critics raised eyebrows over her decision to spend the holidays with her children and ex-husband Eddie Cibrian.

Brandi Glanville and Eddie Cibrian finalized their divorce in 2010 after news broke that her ex-husband had an affair with a co-worker in 2008.

The Bravo legend explained on her “Brandi Glanville Unfiltered” Podcast that despite their interesting history, she decided to spend the holidays with Cibrian and his wife Leanna Rimes.

She lashed out at her critics, who chose a better arrangement to go on holiday where she felt most loved.

“What did I want to do? Stay here in my house, be alone for Christmas, or go be with my sweet children and my in-laws, whom I am obsessed with and love?” The TV star quipped.

Glanville noted that she prioritizes her children's well-being over public opinion, while respecting herself and her boundaries.

“Sometimes I pat myself on the back and (say), like, 'Oh, my girl.' You do it for your boys,” the reality star revealed, as she admitted: “There are two separate holidays. — children upstairs.”

Although Glanville later admitted on the podcast that spending Christmas with Cibrian and his wife sounded weird, that didn't stop her from having a great time. She described their time together over the holidays as “lovely”, adding:

“I can stand there and not give af— as long as everyone is happy and everyone is in one place and the children are happy and we are having a good time and the food is good.”

The mum-of-two had already shared a family portrait of the team the day after Christmas, which proved she was indeed having fun with her baby daddy and his wife.

“Merry Christmas is not my favorite facial expression,” the model began, adding, “but I felt ALL the love from my modern family,” Glanville wrote. She added“Thank you Eddie and @leannrimes @masoncibrian @jakecibrian and all the friends and grandparents.”

Glanville and Cibrian have come a long way since their messy divorce. The former couple were married from 2001 to 2009 after getting engaged on New Year's Eve 1999.

US Weekly noted that they welcomed Mason and Jake in 2003 and 2007, respectively, and Glanville hasn't stopped talking about her sons and motherhood since.

The tragedy came two years after Jake arrived in 2009, when news broke that the actor was having an affair with Rims, who was his “Northern Lights” co-star. Dissatisfied, Glanville filed for divorce 5 months later and finalized the process in 2010.

The end of their marriage marked a new beginning for young couple Cibrian and Rimes, who took it a step further as the actor proposed in 2010 and met in April 2011 in Los Angeles.

In a 2011 interview, Glanville recalled slashing Cibrian's motorcycle tires when she first learned of his affair. She also accused Rimsa of showing no regrets about her marriage.

Seven years later, in 2018, the Bravo star and Rimes finally resolved all their issues and decided to move on as one big happy family.

Before connecting with her family over the holidays, Glanville spent considerable time on social media blaming those involved in her facial deformity.

As shared An explosion Earlier this month, the star urged fans to keep her in their prayers after she uploaded a picture of herself with a badly swollen face to her Instagram story.

The reality star also dropped a statement explaining her physical condition on her X account. “What happened? I wish I knew last year I've been in and out of the hospital, 1/2 spent almost every dollar I've tried to come up with,” the TV star began.

She discussed the various diagnoses given to her disturbing appearance, stating, “Some doctors say I have a parasite jumping around my face. Some say it's stress edema. Personally, I say it's Bravo.”

The December post comes 5 months after she called out Bravo for causing health issues in July. In her words: “So I'm miserable and depressed. I won't even share a picture when it sinks in. The stress will kill you.”

She urged her fans to take care of themselves and criticized Bravo for making her job impossible because of her appearance.

The 52-year-old woman backed her claims by promising to take Bravo to court and get justice for herself.

She revealed her intentions in July to file a lawsuit against the network for using her as their “fall guy” and causing her extreme emotional distress through their shady dealings.

Glanville is no stranger to suing those who have wronged her. She previously sued Andy Cohen, the show's executive producer and talk show host.

The reality star noted that the stress of the show took a toll on her health, and she now suffers from “uncontrollable stress-induced angioedema” and a dire financial crisis.

“I haven't worked in a year and a half. I'm (too) depressed to do a podcast and (too) swollen (for) a cameo or OF. I'M BEING USED AS A FALL,” the reality star noted. . She also stated that she has enough valid evidence to fight the case, but her legal team has advised against releasing it.
