Brenda Song opens up about her time on the Disney Channel

“I think people who come from a Disney Channel background are almost scared. It feels strange to see you like this,” she said Bustling. “But I'll be honest. I think LA 'f-ck' is a verb. It's a noun. It's an adjective. It's natural in my language. Ever since I had kids, I've had to look after myself a lot. People like to say that Valley Girls say “like.” I think we say “f–ck” as much as “like.”

It's really important to be communicative when you need help. Instead of assigning responsibilities, we just drive each other crazy. I'll put my son down and my partner says, 'Let me feed the animals and make dinner.'

Brenda Song recalls being pregnant twice in one calendar year
Speaking to Bustle, the former Disney star recalled what it was like starting a family with the “Home Alone” star.
“I had two pregnancies in one calendar year. It was a lot,” she said. “When I became a mother, it made me question a lot: my place in the industry, my place as a woman, age in the industry, societal pressures about what beauty is, what being young is. Things I had never questioned before.”
She added: “And my priority is my kids too, so I can't just uproot my life and go live in Bulgaria for nine months to make a movie. I was like, 'Does acting still fit into my life?'”
