Brianna Lapaglia makes her sports illustrated swimsuit debut

The influencer dedicated her first Sports Illustrated cover to moving on from the ruins of her past relationships and reclaiming everything she lost.

Brianna Lapaglia and Zach Bryan called it quits last year after one year of a very public relationship, and the internet personality claimed she was hurt by the decision.

The podcaster made an ethereal appearance on the magazine's cover, which featured her extremely toned bikini body as she walked down a rocky path. But Lapaglia didn't just look beautiful, she explained the thought process behind agreeing to do her first cover shoot with the magazine. She noted:

“It's so much more than me looking unquote hot in a bathing suit — I'm reclaiming who I am as a woman, reclaiming my body and my decisions and mine choices.”

The model explained that the images show that she is back in control of her life and stories. She added: “It's my body; my body is not this experience and even though I'm not 100% in it right now, it's me. It has nothing to do with anyone else.”

Lapaglia's appearance on the cover is a full-circle experience, as she admitted she was so close to landing a hosting deal for the magazine's 60th anniversary. However, her boyfriend at the time allegedly advised her to ignore the deal as it didn't fit her brand at the time.

“During the hardest time of my life, it's probably been one of the most rewarding things that's ever happened to me, to help people in a way that I think is much more meaningful than what my old stuff was.”

She still respected her old rush to post silly things that people could laugh at, but she found that “actually changing lives by coming forward and being able to give people a shoulder to lean on or a person to cry on, that's just from this world.”

The Internet sensation revealed on a November episode of her podcast that her ex offered her $12 million, an apartment in New York and an NDA to keep her lips sealed about their relationship.
