Brittany and Patrick Mahomes welcome daughter Golden

NFL star Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany Mahomes have welcomed their third child.

The couple announced their new addition to the family on social media on Monday, and many fans congratulated them on their newest arrival.

Brittany and Patrick tied the knot in March 2022 and already have two children, daughter Sterling and son Bronze, who they welcomed in February 2021 and November 2022, respectively.

The couple announced the arrival of their third child via a joint post on Instagram.

They shared a picture of their hands holding their newborn daughter's feet along with a caption to read“Golden Raye Mahomes. 01/12/2025.”

Many fans of the couple took turns congratulating them in the comments section of the post.

One person marveled at their baby's name, writing: “Love the name! Congratulations.”

Another person added: “Little Miss Goldie Welcome.”

They shared an adorable video playing Bruno Mars' “Count on You” that featured Brittany's ultrasounds.

The cute couple were joined by their children Sterling and Bronze, who looked delighted as they helped their parents make the announcement.

However, they did not reveal the gender of their baby in the post.

After Brittany and Patrick failed reveals the gender of her third baby the pregnancy announcement brought so much anticipation among their fans as many wondered if they were having a boy or a girl.

The couple put their fans to rest a few days later when they shared a gender-revealing video that also featured their son and daughter.

In the cute video, Sterling played a game of flipping tiles to reveal the gender of her unborn sibling. The X tiles were pink to indicate a girl and the O tiles were blue.

After several reversals, Sterling finally lined up three pink X tiles in a row, revealing that she was going to have a baby sister.

After the gender reveal, Brittany and Patrick screamed in delight as a spray of pink powder rose into the air, adding to the colorful scene.

The arrival of a third baby will be so sweet for Brittany, who has previously talked about how much she loves being a mother and loves spending time with her children and watching them grow.

In the March 2024 interview with She knowsshe revealed that her love for motherhood began in childhood.

Brittany shared, “I think I've been called mom since I was little. Just seeing my kids grow up and what they learn and what they take from their dad.”

She added: “When we have our first experience with them, taking them somewhere, seeing them happy and lit up and in a good mood when we're doing things is probably the biggest thing I like.”

Brittany and Patrick Mahomes met when they went to high school together in Texas and have been dating ever since.

They faced difficulties when they went to different colleges after high school, but stayed together despite the distance between them.

On September 1, 2020, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback proposed to his longtime sweetheart. The proposal was held inside the Arrowhead Stadium suite on the day he received his Superbowl LIV championship ring.

A couple married on March 12, 2022and became parents for the first time when Sterling was born in February 2021, a year before their marriage. Bronze arrived in November 2022.

Patrick is enjoying his NFL career, but remains grateful to his wifewho is a certified personal trainer because he kept it while he does his job on the football field.

He was impressed with Brittany's mothering skills when he appeared on “ImpulsivePodcast May 2024.

Patrick said: “I think people don't even realize how much she does. I think taking care of the day-to-day stuff and making it so I can focus on football and focus on my craft and stuff like that.”

He added, “She's a Hall of Fame mom and a Hall of Fame wife, which makes it a lot easier. I mean, when you come home and your best friend is there and you can just hang out, it makes you want to be around all the time, and she pushes me to be great, and she's done a lot of great things herself.”
