Carrie Underwood FIRED from American Idol over Trump support?!?

Across the country, many observers are currently judging Carrie Underwood.

Will Carrie Underwood return next season to judge the American Idol contestants?

The artist was chosen this week to perform at Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday, January 20… but instead of receiving congratulatory messages from people across the country, Underwood instead received numerous negative reactions.

“I love our country and am honored to have been invited to sing at the inauguration and be a small part of this historic event,” Underwood said in a statement to People magazine a few days ago, adding :

“I am honored to answer this call at a time when we must all come together in a spirit of unity and look to the future.”

In January 2017, Trump was rejected by a number of musicians who had been asked to fill a similar role during his first inauguration.

According to the Sun, American Idol producers are “not happy” that Underwood has entered the political fray in any area.

But that doesn't mean the celebrity is about to get upset.

“Carrie’s job is not at risk,” said an insider said the above publication, emphasizing that there was “no discussion of his dismissal.” She will continue her role as judge.

“It doesn't conflict with any of his Idol taping dates and (the unveiling) takes place before this season airs, so it doesn't go against anything in his contract.

“But there are producers who don’t approve and are concerned.”

Underwood will be joined by artists including Kid Rock, the Village People, Billy Ray Cyrus, Lee Greenwood, Rascal Flatts, Jason Aldean and more over the weekend and Monday as part of Trump's inauguration events in Washington, DC.

Eight-time Grammy winner Underwood will sing “America The Beautiful” at the swearing-in ceremony…with the accompaniment of the Armed Forces Choir and the United States Naval Academy Glee Club.
