Sources close to the singer have now revealed that she was unhappy with the event and felt she was “not given the same respect” as previous inaugural hosts such as Beyoncé.

The change of plans apparently affected Underwood, with a source explaining that she “was unhappy with her performance at the event, mainly due to the limited space she was given, which made her feel cramped and uncomfortable.”
