Some of the sold-out hotels include the Beverly Hills Hotel, The Four Seasons Beverly Hills, the Peninsula Hotel and the Waldorf Astoria.
Despite rates reaching $700 a night, that doesn't seem to have been a deterrent for the ultra-rich, whose homes and properties have reportedly been hit by the disaster.

Hotel rooms quickly sold out as stars sought shelter from the fires
According to a source who was among those evacuated to one of these hotels, rooms were sold out so quickly that people staying there almost didn't get the high-end accommodations they were looking for.

She added: “They sold out so quickly that as soon as people started to smell the smoke, they went to hotels.com.”
Since the influx of guests, the hotel has become quite chaotic, with people and animals everywhere.

Some of the affected millionaires want to leave California

She also claimed that “stress is very high” for all those affected, which has led many to drown in alcohol as a coping mechanism.
“I mean, what else are you going to do? People are ordering vodka on the rocks, holding the drink. I saw a woman crying while on the phone, mascara everywhere,” Anna added.
A new theory about the Palisades wildfires claims New Year's Eve revelers started the blaze
While it is now clear that the Pacific Palisades wildfire is the worst to ever hit California, its exact cause remains unclear.
Reports suggest the pearl may have been caused by New Year's Eve revelers using fireworks during the festivities.
According to the evidence reviewed The Washington PostFirefighters were dispatched to the Pacific Palisades Islands shortly after midnight on New Year's Day to respond to a small brush fire that residents say was started by fireworks.
Although the flames were extinguished at the time, a rekindling is now believed to have occurred because satellite images from the previous fire's burn scar overlapped with the origin of the smoke from the Palisades Fire.
