“Jesus saved me from struggling with severe anxiety and gave me a peace that makes no sense. Now I find myself laughing again in places where I had only cried,” she wrote. “Jesus fulfilled His promise to make me new and completely renew my mind. Jesus is the only reason I am here today and has made my life worth living.”

Lola explained that she decided to get baptized because she “got through this year only by the power of Jesus.”

Earlier this month, she shared a clip from her baptism, accompanied by a verse from Psalms, to the admiration of friends, fans and loved ones.

Lola has since launched a faith-based podcast called “Heavenly Connection” about “walking with Jesus and walking through life.”
