The former Kansas City Chiefs cheerleader offers more details on where Taylor Swift meets with Travis Kelce after his games.
Stephanie Hillswho cheered for the Chiefs until 2023 shared recent TikTok — which is now circulating online, months after the clip was posted — that Swift would “always meet Travis by (his) locker room” at Arrowhead Stadium after the game.
“All the pictures of her in her game-day gear walking through the red tunnels at Arrowhead, right next to the players' locker room, right next to the Chiefs cheer locker room, and there were so many close encounters,” Hill said, recalling how she and her fellow cheerleaders had been waiting “a very long time” outside the dressing rooms to take a picture with Swift.
When Hill first learned that Swift and Kelce, both 35, were an item, she couldn't believe it.
“My initial thoughts were, 'No way is Taylor Swift dating Travis Kelce.' Like, this has to be a publicity stunt,” she recalled in her September 2024 video. “We're talking about the same Travis Kelce who less than 10 years ago had his own dating show where he dated one woman from every state in the United States. … You can see why I was a bit confused.
When Swift attended his first Chiefs game In September 2023, Hills said she “almost pooped” in the excitement, adding, “And I'm not even Swifty.”
@stephhills I knew you were in trouble when you came in…yikes! I'm slowly becoming a jerk! lysm TS! #taylorswift #nflcheerleader #kansascity #mainkingdom #main shave #mainfootball #fyp #swagssurf
That's when “we were doing our choreography in the end zone and I looked up and, no joke, she was on the screen clapping,” Hill recalled. “And I thought, 'She was just watching our team dance and now she's clapping and she liked my choreography.' If she didn't like it, she wouldn't have clapped.
Hills' only complaints: The pop star's visit drove up game-day ticket prices and that the live cameras consistently focused on Swift instead of the cheerleaders and fans.
“Which is beyond her control and I'm sure she'd rather not have it on her 24-7,” Hill said. “Me personally, if I'm at a Chiefs game, I'm like, Don't point the camera at me. Like, that would really upset me. “
She added: “Because the Chiefs games are getting hectic.”
Swift has been cheering on her boyfriend from his team's VIP section for almost a year and a half. She arrived at Arrowhead on Saturday, January 18, dressed head-to-toe in Chanel, and arrived alongside her parents, Scott and Andreaand younger brother, Austin. The rest of the Swift family wore Chiefs-branded gear as they sat with the Kelce family and the basketball phenom. Caitlin Clarke in the box.
Swift broke in there boisterous cheer card when Kelce scored a touchdown in the Chiefs' divisional playoff game. After the Houston Texans' win, Kelce was asked by a reporter if his remarkable performance on the field made him feel 10 years younger.
“Twenty two, baby,” Kelce answeredreferring to Swift Red song of the same name.
