The Kansas City Chiefs gave a subtle nod to the Mahomes family and their newest addition before the team's first NFL playoff game of the season.
“QB1 looks like gold,” Chiefs said published by X on Saturday, January 18. The report featured video of the starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes comes to Arrowhead Stadium as the team prepares to take on the Houston Texans in the divisional round of the playoffs.
Patrick's wife, Brittany Mahomesresponded to the sweet tribute by re-sharing OG's post on her Instagram story writing: “Caption” along with one big eye and one ugly crying emoji.
Earlier this week, on Monday, January 13, Patrick and Brittany announced the birth of their third child. The couple also shared her unique name.

The couple, who tied the knot in March 2022, are already parents to daughter Sterling and son Bronze, who arrived in February 2021 and November 2022, respectively.
Several celebrities were quick to take to the comments section to congratulate the couple, including Travis Kelcegirlfriend Taylor Swiftwho “likes” this post.
“Uncle Jack loves him so much already,” Patrick's brother, Jack Mahomeswrote on her Instagram story, reposting a photo of the couple's announcement set to Swift's “Daylight.”
“It was great meeting you today, dear Golden! Can't wait for the memories to come! You have the BEST PARENTS ever,” he continued in the post. “And the best uncle.”
Kelce and Big Brother — and retired Philadelphia Eagles center — Jason Kelce also congratulated the couple via the Great Heights podcast's Instagram account.
The proud mom recently gave fans an inside look at the Goldens' nursery via an Instagram a post shared on Thursday, January 16.
“When I found out I was having a girl, my thoughts immediately turned to kindergarten,” she explained. “I really wanted to go very warm and pink with Golden's nursery. And then obviously, gravitating to gold just for her name is where we really got most of the inspiration for her room.
While the Chiefs wanted to hype Golden's arrival as the team prepared for its first playoff game of the year, new mom Brittany was MIA (and understandably so, considering she just had a baby). Her BFF, Swift attendedhowever — the pop star arrived at the division playoff wearing a chic black mini dress with a pearl Chanel belt and a matching plaid jacket. She completed her look with a matching Chanel handbag and her red lip.
Earlier this week, Kelce confirmed that Swift would be in the stands. “You know it, baby,” he said on the Monday, Jan. 13, episode of ESPN. Even the McAfee show. “You know it's playoff football.”
Kelce also referenced one of Swift's most popular lyrics while sharing her excitement for the game. “I feel excited,” he noted. “I feel 22 again, baby. Let's go.”
