Chlöe Bailey finally responds to the romance rumors that have been swirling between her and Burna Boy.

Last month, the couple reportedly had everyone talking on social media after they were seen partying together in Lagos, Nigeria during Detty December celebrations. The pictures showed the two on top of each other in various locations, and all of their PDA sparked serious dating rumors. Despite the fact that they clearly weren't trying to hide anything in public, neither Bailey nor Burna have responded to the speculation — until now.
During his appearance on The breakfast club On Wednesday, January 8, the Grown-ish alum was asked about her recent NAACP Image Awards nomination and whether or not Burna Boy was her date for the event.
Unsurprisingly, Bailey did her best to dodge the question and, instead of giving a straight answer, she said, “You'll have to ask him.” »
The host continued by asking more questions about the musician and his trip to Lagos, but Bailey once again deviated.
“Nigeria was so beautiful,” she said, making the hosts laugh. “I had the best time.”
When asked directly if she was in a relationship with Burna Boy, Chlöe refused to answer, saying “I'm a grown woman.”
The 'Do It' singer also admitted that she hasn't heard rumors that Burna had another woman after he left Lagos, but no matter what he does without her, she's okay with it .
“He’s a grown man,” she insisted. “Just like I was a grown woman.”
Bailey also answered questions about what dating means in the public eye and all the scrutiny that comes with it.
“Honestly, it doesn’t bother me,” she said of her life in public. “I hate to say it, but it’s my life. This is what I signed up for so I can only expect it. It's just about how I handle it; how I behave. So I don't think I should ever get angry at people who ask me.
