Originally, Josh would have starred in the series. But that’s not how things turned out.

HGTV invites fans to watch Christina and Josh's marriage fall apart before their eyes.

We all knew they separated in July 2024. Since then, their ugly divorce battle has been making headlines.

However, ahead of the January 29 premiere The reversalwe see that the ugly fights started before the divorce.

The trailer released by HGTV shows Josh Hall and Christina Haack (at the time, still Christina Hall) on an uncomfortable car ride.

Obviously, this is a reality TV trailer – so it's heavily edited. But the tension is clear, with Josh lecturing his then-wife and then nagging her for not responding as much as he clearly would prefer. At one point, perhaps sarcastically, he tells her that he wishes she would “shut up.”

Josh emphasizes: “It’s a competition. We must do everything we can. Whatever it takes to win, I will do it. The rooms reign supreme! »
