Christina Haack makes accusations of “manufactured drama”.

The estranged couple made waves last week after a sneak peek of the upcoming show The Flip Off captured Josh's frustration with Christina over flipping their home against her first husband.

The HGTV program was set to pit Christina Heck and Josh Hall against her ex Tarek El Moussa and his wife Heather Rae El Moussa as teammates. However, Josh's reaction to the teaser prompted Christina to reveal the sad reality of their time together.

Josh broke his silence on the reality TV show teaser on his Instagram Story, highlighting a news article about the fight. The footage was filmed before the estranged couple split in July 2024 and revealed one of the reasons behind their ongoing split.

However, Josh pointed out that his heated exchange with Christina was written to promote views and did not cover his true feelings. He called out showrunners for him as a problem in the cover text of the report, writing:

“TFW when you can't get enough ratings with celebrity (home) designers so you rely on manufactured drama with me, no one. @HGTV, you've changed.”

The network did not respond to his accusations, but Christina did on her Instagram Story. She shared a screenshot of his comments alongside the rebuttal: “Made?! Pretty sure no one at HGTV said you were mean to me… It was natural.”

Christina's rant didn't end there, as she called out Josh in a separate Instagram Story post. She gave evidence of the aftermath of filming with her estranged husband, sharing a selfie of herself crying in a car.

“This was taken on June 21st, 2024. After one of my movies with Josh. It's 'real' and a reminder to me that I deserve better,” Christina captioned the emotional picture. Although she was not caught crying in the show's teaser, the real estate investor appeared to be done with her estranged husband.

In the video, Josh was driving the car while Christina looked furious in the passenger seat. Her estranged husband appeared upset about their home-trimming showdown with Tarek and Heather, blasting his then-wife for not taking her competition seriously.

“This is a competition. We have to pull out all the stops. Whatever it takes to win, I'll do it. Halls rule! You have to say it to me or repeat it or something that shows you.” be with me,” Josh told Christina, per Fox news.

Josh was having a mostly one-sided conversation with Christina, trying to get her reaction. He seemed upset that she wasn't responding to his comments about the pageant and reminded her of her status as a wife, saying:

“Remember, you're a Hall now. Don't get confused in this competition about what your last name is.”

When Christina didn't answer, Josh retorted, “You're rude.” She finally replied, “I didn't negotiate.” Her rant drew more criticism from her then-husband, who added: “Yeah, what you're saying and I'm just like, 'I wish you'd shut up.'”

Christina and HGTV shared a teaser video on their respective Instagram pages. The footage will be included in the show's two-hour premiere on January 29. In the comments section of the post, Heather Ray showed her support for the TV personality by slamming Josh, writing:

Speaking to Tarek, Christina revealed that she has officially split from Josh after several fights and “middle fingers” in her face. “Things have been bad with Josh for a long time,” she admitted, before noting that her children encouraged her to leave.

“They told me he wasn't nice to me. Why should I stick around?” she told Tarek, adding: “I feel like I'm in a hurricane all the time and I just can't get out of it. Everything has been so hard and so awful since 2016.”

A tearful Christina continued: “It's really hurt me a lot.” She also apologized to her ex-husband for their nasty split in 2016, and Tarek admitted he went through a similar tough time after their split.
