In an emotional moment during the latest episode of TLC's “Sister Wives,” Cody admitted, “I was itching to move just to get the energy out of it all.”

As he and Robin discussed the current state of their marriage, Cody expressed the need for a fresh start. “I've got to get out of here because it's not going to work for me because all the memory, all that energy, I just don't know,” he shared.

Despite the difficulty of uprooting his children, some of whom are still in school, Cody noted, “And here's the stupid thing. I have kids in college, kids in grade school, but I want to move to Europe.”

While Cody talked to Robyn, the 18-year-old dad admitted that he's in a difficult situation with his exes, especially Jenelle, who he admitted to having a big falling out with.

“We just don't get along,” Cody admitted, referring to their separate paths since splitting in December 2022. This isn't the first time Cody has expressed regret about the tumultuous dynamics of his past relationships.

In a September 2024 interview with PEOPLE magazine, he reflected on the way he handled his divorces, admitting:

“There's even regret about the breakup — Mary, Jenelle and Kristine – her divorce and anger during the divorce. Of course I regret it.”

The divorce saga began with Kristine's departure in November 2021, followed by Meri's public split in January 2023.

Cody may be longing for a fresh start in Europe, but he's not taking any chances when it comes to his marriage to Robin.

Determined to protect his marriage from outside interference, he made it clear that Robin was off-limits, shutting down any ideas of other men pursuing her.

An explosion reported that Cody openly admitted that Robyn attracts attention, admitting that there are “a lot of men” interested in her.

However, Robin comforted her by telling her that she should declare her marital status. Cody, not entirely convinced, asked to check the “rock” on her finger, adding:

“I just wanted to make sure the bling was big enough to keep guys away from you.“

In response, Robin laughed and promised, “I'll carry it. You don't have to worry.”

Despite Cody's protective attitude about his marriage, a deeper truth emerged. Cody and Robin themselves admitted the struggles they faced in their relationship. At a candid moment on the show, Robin admitted:

“We're probably doing the worst we've ever done in our marriage. It's been hard. It's been hard between us.“

Cody, clearly affected by the strain, agreed, and Robin added that the fallout from his previous marriages had taken a toll on their relationship.

The mother-of-five revealed even more, sharing how she feels like she's constantly walking on eggshells trying to keep her husband from sabotaging their relationship. “I'm on my toes. I have to constantly make sure he's not sabotaging our relationship,” she admitted.
