Critics Choice Awards 2025 Set New Date, Red Carpet Screening Cancelled

The 2025 Critics' Choice Awards will continue despite several residuals due to the Los Angeles fires.

The annual awards ceremony was originally scheduled for Jan. 12, but was pushed back to Jan. 26 after Santa Ana winds sparked several wildfires that spread across the greater Los Angeles area. The fires destroyed businesses, schools and homes, forced thousands to evacuate the region and claimed at least 25 lives.

Deadline later reported that the ceremony had been pushed back a second time to February, although an exact date has yet to be revealed.

There were several celebrities affected by firesinclusive Adam Brodywho was nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy Series at Netflix's Nobody wants that. The show earned four nods overall, including Best Comedy Series and Best Actress in a Comedy Series Kristen Bell. (Brodie, 45, and his wife, Leighton Mesterreported lost his house in fires.)
