Francisco San Martin—a Spanish actor who appeared in several soap operas such as The days of our lives And The Bold and the Beautiful-died on January 16 at his home, according to Deadline. He was 39 years old.
According to the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office, his cause of death was suicide.
San Martin was born on the Spanish island of Mallorca before growing up in Montana, according to the publication. He returned to Spain as a teenager, living in Madrid, where he began modeling and taking acting classes before eventually moving into Spanish stage, television and film productions.
San Martin was launched The days of our lives in 2011 in the role of Dario Hernandez, a petty thief who investigates an unsolved case. San Martin played Hernández for six months before his character moved to Argentina, with Jordi Vilasuso later portraying Hernandez in 2016.
