DC Young Fly kids react to gift honoring late mom

For some, a holiday is just a holiday. But for others, they inspire painful memories of loss. last christmas DC Young Fly and his family seemed to do a bit of both in commemoration Jack Oh. In the video, Nova and Nala are dressed in purple and pink pajamas. The woman behind the camera asks the girls if they are ready for their gift. Older Nova picks up a gift bag that says “Hip Hip Hooray” and reads the card out loud.

“Merry Christmas, baby cousins. Your mother is always with you and looks down on you with everything you do. She is very proud of all of you,” Nova said. A card signed with love from a cousin.

After hugging someone, Nova put down the gift and pulled out a medium-sized sculpture covered in bubble wrap. After taking it out of the package, Nova's mouth instantly dropped when he saw Jackie Oh's face, and a sweet “mom” slipped out. By this time, Nala had moved closer, smiling at the sculpture and repeating that it was her 'mom'. At one point, she admitted that she misses her mom.
