Denzel Washington won't add another trophy to my mantel after 2025 Golden Globe Awards.
The famous actor, 70, was nominated Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role, Any Motion Picture Gladiator II. He ended up not winning at the Sunday, January 5 ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Kieran Culkin received an award for his performance Real pain.
Washington had stiff competition in this category, with Anoras Yura Borisov, A complete unknowns Edward Norton, Brutalists Guy Pearce and Apprentices Jeremy Strong to round out the list of nominees.
Before this year's Golden Globes, Washington already had a long history with the awards. He is the most nominated black male actor of all time, with 11 nods during his decade-long career.
Awards season got off to an early start as the 82nd annual Golden Globes celebrated the best performances in TV and film on Sunday, January 5.
