If we ever get Jennifer Lopez style. . . we will have to recreate it. A big movie and music star is always wearing designer clothes, and if we had her budget, we would too. But for now we don't, so it's been rebuilt her designer sneaker look – and the style is only $37.

The It's Me… Now: A Love Story star was noticed in December in some designer shoes we haven't stopped thinking about since. Shopping at Brentwood Country Mart in Los Angeles, California, the singer slayed the day wearing Coach herringbone coatblack Hermès Kelly pleated bag, some silver hoop earrings from Jennifer Fisher and oversized dior shades.

She definitely knew she was going to be doing a lot of walking as she opted for the Chloe Kick sneaker which is a sleek and comfortable tennis shoe. Like most things J. Lo wears, the shoes were expensive (by our standards) at $690. And since we could use a casual kick style ourselves, we scoured the internet to find one similar version and landed on this $34 style on Amazon.

Of course, shoes also have their differences. Unlike the singer's choice, the shoes are made with a thick rubber sole for more traction and shock absorption. They also feature an exposed knit detail around the bottom for added visual interest. You can keep a neutral aesthetic like Lopez's with a cream option or switch it up with something different. Lopez's outfit is the template for how shoes can be worn with a few things while tossing them with jeans, a t-shirt, and your favorite winter coat. However, they can be made into more than just that. They can go with leggings and sweaters on spring trips, and will even be able to go with dresses and skirts when spring rolls around. They're not meant for anything drastic like hiking, but they'll definitely keep you looking stylish as you walk the miles.

Maybe one day (when we win the lottery) we'll be able to purchase Lopez's actual selection of designer shoes. But for now these produce a fantastic counterpart in our closet and our wallets will be singing about them too.
