Donald Trump has been President of the United States for 72 hours and the consequences of the people's apathy, anti-blackness and stupid sense of morality have already arrived. Previously, BOSSIP reported on Trump's executive order to end federal DEI programs and today there are new reports of administrative attacks against Black people, people of color and harmed marginalized communities.
According to APNewsThe Trump Justice Department has officially suspended the filing of all civil rights litigation by the Civil Rights Division “until further notice,” two recently released memos state.
Attorneys in the department's Civil Rights Division have been ordered not to file new complaints, amicus briefs or other court documents “until further notice,” one of the memos says.
The second, both memos states that the DOJ should notify the Trump administration of any court-enforceable agreements to reform the police, known as “consent decrees.”

These consent decrees were put in place by the Biden administration following the deaths of Breonna Taylor and George Floyd and the subsequent investigation that uncovered police misconduct.
(The memo) says the new administration “may wish to reconsider” such agreements, raising the possibility of abandoning two consent decrees finalized in the final weeks of the Biden administration in Louisville, Kentucky, and Minneapolis , Minnesota.
The main issues addressed in the Louisville, Kentucky and Minneapolis, Minnesota consent decrees are no-knock warrants and excessive use of force, respectively. It looks like Trump is giving his men in blue immunity and autonomy to abuse, terrorize and kill whoever they please.
