What's more awkward than dating a man the same age as your son? Well, having them in the same room together certainly helps.

Just weeks before her 40th birthday, Draya Michele took her oldest son, Kniko Howard, 22, with her to a basketball game to cheer on her 22-year-old boyfriend, Jalen Green. The star shooter and his Houston Rockets faced the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Toyota Center in Houston on December 27, losing to the away team 113-112.
A video shared online showed the former reality TV star and her son sitting courtside as Green scored a modest 14 points. Although fans are already aware that Draya is dating someone the same age as her son – and recently had a child – seeing her son and his boyfriend in the same room only made things that much more annoying.
Kniko posted photos from the outing on Instagram, enjoying her playtime despite all the online chatter surrounding her mother's efforts.
Fans were quick to jump on the Basketball Wives old for having dated a man much younger than her, once again flooding X with elements of reflection on her situation.
“Having a stepdad the same age as you is really weird,” one user tweeted. “Draya is really stupid.”
Another wrote: “Draya, having a baby with a young man the same age as her son is evil, I feel it. »
Some users are also not happy with the fact that Michele is now walking her child after being arrested for child endangerment in 2011. Police became concerned about Kniko's well-being when Draya left her son alone in her apartment so she could go out and party, according to BET.
Draya announced that she was pregnant and expecting a baby with Green in March 2024, in honor of International Women's Day. She gave birth to her third child, a baby girl, in May, and her name has not been released to the public.
This was Green's second baby, according to reports from TMZwhich revealed that the athlete also welcomed a daughter with a woman named Myah Lakopo in February 2024.
