Duck Dynasty Reboot CONFIRMED by Willie Robertson, A&E: When will it premiere?

Viewers are about to be slammed by a family from the past.

Appearing on The Tucker Carlson Show Recently, Willie Robertson confirmed that he and those close to him were “resuming production” on a new series, which he described as “the next generation of Duck Dynasty.”

Yes, friends. It's a Duck Dynasty restart!

“My kids are older,” Willie said on this podcast.

“Well, from 2017 to 2024… a lot happened. The cast has grown. So yeah, back with A&E, we met and they said, “Hey, are you guys interested in remaking the show?” And I felt like the time was right…I met family, I prayed about it and said, “Yes, I think so. The children were excited. »

Fans were delighted when Willie announced the news, and now the new series – titled Duck Dynasty: the rebirth – has been confirmed by A&E.

“The Robertsons have earned a place in homes across the country with their unique brand of practicality, Southern charm and relatable humor,” said Elaine Frontain Bryant, executive vice president and head of programming for A&E and Lifetime (via The Hollywood Reporter).

“Duck Dynasty has played an important role in the success of A&E for many years, and we look forward to reuniting with the Robertsons for this revival.”

The new series would focus on Willie and Korie Robertson “and their extended families.” It is not yet known whether Phil Robertson, who was recently diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, will appear in the series.

A&E has ordered two ten-episode seasons of The renewalthe first of which will debut in summer 2025.

Duck Dynasty premiered on A&E on March 21, 2012 and ran for 11 seasons, concluding its run on April 5, 2017.

The series centered on the Robertson family and their West Monroe, Louisiana business, Duck Commander, which makes products for duck hunters.

A gigantic success, Duck Dynasty has given rise to numerous spin-offs, notably Jep and Jessica: growing the dynasty And Go to Si-Ral. After the last season of Duck Dynastytwo more fallout followed, In the woods with Phil And Treasure of the duck family.

Reflecting on the original show's 11 seasons a few days ago, Willie noted it was “a lot” of work, but said meeting fans over the years has been worth the time they've put into the series.

He told Carlson:

“When you talk to people and they tell you how much it meant to them…I can't tell you how many people say, 'My dad and I were watching together,' or 'My mom passed away, and that was the only thing we could laugh about together.

A known supporter of Donald Trump, Robertson did not go into detail on the podcast about who would be involved in the new series, although he suggested his family would be the center of attention.

Robertson is married to Korie and the couple shares six children: John Luke, Sadie, Will, Rowdy, Bella and Rebecca.

Willie is CEO of Duck Commander, which he grew from a family business to a multi-million dollar empire.
