Paris Fashion Week has officially begun and Pharrell Williams unveiled his latest Louis Vuitton menswear collection on Tuesday evening as creative director of the eponymous brand.
This year's collection was created in collaboration with Pharrell's longtime friend, BAPE designer Nigo, who he previously partnered with when co-founding streetwear brand Billionaire Boys Club.
The new collection featured numerous monograms and camouflages, including more pixelated designs like those used in Williams' previous collections.
Speaking of which, LV models walked a mauve-colored checkerboard-patterned runway. The color also appeared throughout the collection and on the brand's wall where celebrity guests posed for photos.
Since we mentioned the celebrity guests, we know you all want to see the man of the moment, actor Aaron Pierre, the voice of Moufasa . Pierre adopted an all-black look consisting of a black-on-black checkered jacket and flared pants.
The actor sported a pair of sunglasses from his front row seat next to another British sex symbol, Idris Elba.
Elba's wife Sabrina was also present.
British sex symbols were seemingly in abundance at the Paris Fashion Week show. Skepta also adopted the plaid pattern on his pants, complemented by an untucked white shirt and loose tie.
The Americans, however, were not absent from the action during this great event. Rapper Future donned a black durag to accessorize his all-black ensemble, aside from his studded shoes and a chain hanging from his pants.
He was in good company alongside rapper Travis Scott for the show.
Scott looked winter-ready in a matching gray ensemble and black boots. We love how he posed sideways under the LV Lovers brand to show off his LV backpack. Do you like it?
Don Toliver looked good in leather.
Pharrell's favorite rap brothers, No Malice and Pusha T (aka The Clipse), opted for winter white looks – also adopting the plaid pattern the brand is famous for. We love varsity jackets.
The collection combines prep and streetwear with touches of classic silhouettes.
