A number of stars were recently seen on the ATL stage at the highly anticipated premiere of Both eyes openn, a gripping new psychological thriller written and directed by Ariel Julia Hairston, starring and EP by Gail Bean.

Gail Bean of Valley P And Snowfall The celebrity lit up the red carpet with her beaming smile and infectious energy as she celebrated her starring role.
Gail plays the role of the protagonist in Both eyes openwhich tells the haunting story of a woman who escapes an abusive relationship only to be confronted with mysterious messages suggesting her past is far from over. With its suspenseful plot and talented cast, which also includes Taye Diggs, the film has already started to generate buzz as the must-see thriller of the season.

The premiere was a celebration of the independent film itself and the collaborative effort that brought the project to life in such a short space of time.
Liz Smith from BOSSIP met Rod McClureCEO of Rodfather Productions, who also served as executive producer of the film, to discuss the importance of this project.
He expressed his pride in assembling such a dynamic team, particularly highlighting the company's mission to provide opportunities for underrepresented voices in the entertainment industry.
“The production set was great; it was a great atmosphere and good chemistry with everyone,” he said. “Everyone brought their A-game and we had a wonderful time. One of our goals at Rodfather Productions is to use our platform to provide opportunities to those who don't typically receive them. It was intentional for us to bring on a Black writer/director, Ariel Julia Hairston, and Gail Bean as executive producer and lead actress on a film for the first time. We look forward to creating more opportunities for others in the future.
For Gail Bean, Both eyes open marks a milestone in her career as a lead and her debut as an executive producer.

At the premiere, she took a moment to reflect on the journey and express her gratitude to everyone who made the film possible.
“For us to be here today and for this to be picked up, it’s incredible. It's been less than a year, less than a year! We shot this in April and it took less than three weeks,” Gail told BOSSIP. “So I want to say thank you to everyone. We all made this possible. Everyone had to say “yes” for it to work. I am so grateful and so honored!
The film is currently playing in select theaters and has been picked up by STARZ.
With a captivating story, a powerful cast and a production team dedicated to inspiring new voices, Both eyes open promises to be an extraordinary psychological adventure that will keep you in suspense.
