How Christina Brown's daughter felt about her relationship

Christine Browndaughter Jabel Brownhas some confessions about her first impression of her mom's relationship with David Woolley.

The 21-year-old revealed that she is a little hesitant to accept the pace of her mother's relationship with her new husband.

Christina Brown and David Woolley began their whirlwind romance in 2023, two years after she ended her 27-year marriage to Cody Brown in 2021.

In the latest episode “Wife's sisters“, which aired on January 12, Ysabel explained that she initially thought it was too soon when David proposed to her mother just months after she confirmed their relationship on Instagram.

However, the dark days of doubt are well behind the TLC star, who noted, “But I think I've had time to adjust to it.” She added that enough time has passed for her to see how much they love each other and she couldn't be happier for the lovebirds.

According to When communicatingYsabel shared when she realized her mother had made the right choice in her relationship with David. According to her, “We were out on the town and he looked at you and said, 'Oh, I love you so much.'

Elaborating further, she added: “Like, just honest and clean. And I've never heard someone say 'I love you' to you so much.”

David was a milestone in Christine's new beginning after she ended her marriage to Cody in November 2021.

The estranged couple welcomed six children together – daughters Mykelti, Aspyn, Ysabel, Gwendlyn and Truely, and son Pedon – before Christine decided to end their spiritual marriage.

Kristine happily shared that she met someone in February 2023, and later that month made their relationship official on Instagram. In April 2023, they continued their work by buying a house together. Shortly after, the couple announced their engagement and set a wedding date of October 2023.

David also met Cody for the first time when he joined Christina at the family's Valentine's Day party. Cody questioned David about how long they had been together. In the November 10, 2024 episode, Kristine quickly replied, “A month and a half.”

Cody also asked if David has met the children and three grandchildren he shares with Christine. Kristine answered in the affirmative, Mykelti adding that the 60-year-old man helped babysit the grandchildren while they went for a pedicure.

The cute couple have since celebrated the first anniversary of their union, and David seems to have lived up to his claim that large groups and lots of children don't bother him.

David, a proud father of eight, described their relationship as “one hell of a ride” and continues to heap praise on his lovely wife.

“I was in Sedona a few weeks ago. It's really really beautiful, and so is (Christine). I'm so glad she found me and chased me,” David captioned his Oct. 15, 2024, post, which included a selfie of the couple.

The construction expert described his wife as “the most thoughtful, loving, caring person. I'm enjoying this ride and just want to keep going.”

The 28-year-old has never held back her voice on important issues in the Brown family. She sparked speculation last year when she addressed allegations of domestic violence in her family.

An explosion reported that Mykelti has previously made vague but pointed comments about alleged violence involving Meri and the Brown family. She discussed the topic during a question-and-answer session, and while she didn't elaborate much, she still left room for doubt.

During the session, Mykelti seemingly referenced a YouTube user's video that attempted to confirm whether Meri was being abusive towards Cody. Her response, which left viewers searching for the truth, was:

“If you think so and other people think so, you guys are probably not far off.”

The influencer, who refrained from elaborating, quickly added, “I just don't want to deal with being called names and getting in trouble. That's all I'll say.”

Although she didn't reveal much during a question-and-answer session last year, Mykelti was caught referring to some of Meri's troubling behaviors she experienced growing up.

While Meri was never physically with him, Mykelti explained in 2023 that Meri was “very emotionally and verbally abusive to all of us when we were younger.”

The influencer also shared that the abuse of the children stopped when they got older and were able to confront their stepmother's behavior. Mykelti also noted that she felt she had to shoulder the brunt of Meri's treatment, and possibly her siblings.
