James Kennedy and ally Luber REFUSE to divorce despite his arrest for domestic violence!
James Kennedy and Allie Luber stand by each other, refusing to call it back even after his headline-grabbing arrest.
“James and (Ally) are still living apart, but not divorced,” an insider said Us Weekly. “James is very focused on self-improvement and his own sobriety and good luck. He has attended the meeting and support schedule and taken it very seriously.
The source added James has channeled his energy into personal growth and creative pursuits. “He has also been in the studio making music, working out and spending time with good friends and his dog. He is optimistic about the new year and really emphasizes his health and wellness.
James' arrest became a hot topic in December after a witness claimed to have seen him allegedly grab a woman and throw her to the ground. As long as not James nor Ally confirmed that she was involved in the alleged incident, the arrest resulted in the DJ being released on a $20,000 bond.
Just hours before James Kennedy arrest, he and Allie Luber attended Kathy Hilton extravagant Christmas party at her Bel-Air mansion, where his behavior reportedly raised eyebrows.
Sources say James was “in the mood” on the red carpet ahead of the evening and refused to stop for interviews. “He ran off to get into the party,” an insider said, while the witness added: “James rushed across the carpet as if he was trying to avoid everyone. The mood was strange. “
In times of media frenzy, Ally looked at the situation on social networks. In an Instagram story posted shortly after her arrest, she thanked supporters for their concern.
“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support and reaching out to me,” she wrote. “I'm fine and I'm taking the time I need right now. I really appreciate all the kindness and respect for my privacy during this time.
Meanwhile James broke her silence on the arrest by sharing a statement of her own Instagram story: “I am committed to making significant changes in my life.”
The Vanderpump Rules alum continued, “I'm taking time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth, and being present for my loved ones.”
Acknowledging the challenges he faces, he added: “It's not easy to overcome challenging times, but I'm determined to learn, grow and move forward with the incredible support system around me.”
