On Wednesday, a clip surfaced on X via @MyMixtapez of Joie discussing the evacuations.

In it, she shared that although her home had survived the fires, she could not return there due to the damage in the area. According to Joie, she and her children have “alternated four or five outfits” due to their temporary move.

Despite this, she expressed gratitude that she still had a place to live, but said she was considering leaving Los Angeles due to the cost of living. She added that although her renters insurance covers a hotel stay, she and her children are staying at her mother's house.

“I’m just ready to get out of Los Angeles,” Chavis said. “It’s time to freshen up. I would really like to cut my rent in half so I can save money and buy a house. Anyway, it was the plan to buy a

home by the end of this year. But now I'm just like, “Okay, now it's time to get out of here” and I can find what I need, less than what I'm paying, half of what I'm paying right now. moment.

“I'm currently living with my mother, my insurance, my tenant's insurance, the insurance covers a hotel,” she added. “But I just feel like I don’t want to be in a room with three kids and no kitchen and no washer and dryer.”

Social networks react to Joie Chavis' clip

As you can imagine, social media had a lot to say about Joie Chavis' music video, especially since she revealed in 2019 that the fathers of her babies, Future and Bow Wow, weren't paying child support food for their children. However, it is not known if his latest addition, Trevon Diggs, will be.

but others were sympathetic and clapped back at people who vilified her for being open about her living situation.

Joy Chavis clapped back at negative comments

After The shadow room posted the viral clip from Glee, she jumped into the comments to silence the haters, noting that the video is weeks old and that she's sick of the negativity.

“This was two weeks ago,” she wrote in the TSR comments. “I’m fine and always will be!” You always find something negative to say. Of course, I stayed with mom during the evacuations by choice! Of course, I couldn't go home and buy basic necessities at that time. Talking to my followers about the wildfires and you always make it negative or about my comics and what happened to them. This was the reality of the situation during the evacuations. Let's continue to pray for people who don't have a home to go to, now leave me alone.

BLOOP!

In a separate comment, Joie also criticized a commenter who told her to “stop sharing her personal stuff and then acting surprised by the negative responses.”

“If everything was and is so great, what were you complaining about?” Do you only have 5 changes of clothes? the commenter wrote.

“Stfu girl, I do what I want,” Joie wrote. “No one complained about this reality. Stop commenting on a stranger's weird life! »
