Proud dad Kanye credits his daughter with rekindling his love for music.
You may have looked quiet in 2024, but he has quietly added another major achievement to his credit; his first independent number 1 record with “Carnival” from his collaboration with You Dolla $ign. After turbulent times that saw him leave Adidas and GAP, Yeezy may be rebuilding his empire.
But this time he could do it with the help of his daughter, Northwest. On Monday, he dropped a flurry of Instagram posts, including one in which he says North West is the reason he “fell back in love” with music.
“This little girl made me love music again,” Kanye wrote in a post about North. “She asked me to make beats for her. I came back to ASR. I chopped the beats for her album and I chopped every beat with my bare hands for BULLY.”
North West has been featured on Kanye's Vultures 1 and also received not one, but two videos for his track “Talking” featuring the futuristic Yeezy Concepts. Last March, she announced her first album, Dropping out of primary school, during one of Ye's massive listening events.
The pressure is on for the eldest West Kardashian's debut album, and luckily one of the biggest producers of our time is her mentor. Alongside North's debut album, Kanye's album BULLY is also on the way.
