Keanu Reeves' stolen wristwatches found in Chile

It has already been reported that the Chilean police recovered three watches stolen from the actor Keanu ReevesLos Angeles homes in 2023.

“John Wick” actor has been a victim from several home robberies, including in September 2014, when intruders broke into his home twice in three days.

The news of Reeves' recovered watches comes after he talked about his chances of reprising his role in “John Wick.”

Watches belonging to superstar actor Keanu Reeves have been found in Chile. According to CNNChilean police recovered three watches belonging to Reeves, including a $9,000 Rolex.

Police recovered a Rolex Submariner wristwatch engraved with Reeves' name and the words “2021, JW4, Thank You, The John Wick Five.”

They found the wristwatch during an operation related to several local robberies in eastern Santiago.

An explosion previously reported that Reeves gave Rolex Submariners to the stuntmen he worked with while filming “John Wick: Chapter 4” in 2021.

Chilean police searched four homes and found jewelry and valuable wristwatches. They reported that at least one of the watches belonged to a famous actor who was the victim of a robbery in Los Angeles in December 2023.

Per CNNlocal police reported that Chilean authorities were cooperating with officials from the United States in the case.

This collaboration helped them link the watch to the robbery at Keanu Reeves' home last year.

After the raids, the police detained a 21-year-old man.

The LAPD responded to an anonymous call about a possible trespasser at the actor's property around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. When officers arrived on the scene, they searched the home but found no one.

However, police returned to the property at around 1am after the alarm was triggered. When police arrived and checked security cameras, they saw several men wearing ski masks break a window and enter the home.

At the time, reports revealed the thieves took a firearm at Reeves' home before fleeing. However, it was not clear if they took anything else. The 60-year-old actor was not at home at the time of the robbery.

Interestingly, the heist mirrored a scene from the “John Wick” saga, where Reeves' character's home was broken into, valuables stolen and his dog killed, an event that led him to seek revenge, setting off a chain of violence.

The LAPD reported that on September 12, 2014, at 5:00 a.m., officers responded to a burglary in progress at Reeves' property.

After the search, it was found that nothing was taken from the house. However, officers detained a 40-year-old woman and later transported her to a medical facility for further evaluation. Reeves was home at the time of the invasion.

Three days after the incident, another woman allegedly broke into Reeves' home after the gate was left open by construction.

According to CNNpolice responded to a trespasser call at Reeves' residence at approximately 10:13 a.m.

Officers immediately arrived and found the woman in the “47 Ronin” cast pool. The woman was reportedly “erratic” after her arrest and was later taken to a medical facility for evaluation. It was unclear if Reeves was home at the time of the incident.

Keanu Reeves appeared CBS Mornings on December 27 to promote his latest project, Sonic the Hedgehog 3. He was joined by the film's director, Jeff Fowler.

During the interview, Reeves discussed possibly returning to the “John Wick” franchise for a fifth installment.

Reeves replied, “You can never say never, but my knees right now are saying, 'You can't do another 'John Wick.'

He added: “So does my heart, but I don't know if my knees can do it.”

Fowler chimed in, referring to Reeves' upcoming role as the voice of Shadow in “Sonic the Hedgehog.” The film's director said lightly, “That's why you can voice the Shadow for, like, decades more. There's no physical limitation, just your voice.”

Reeves laughed and agreed with Fowler, saying, “I'm free.”

Although Reeves is not sure if he will star in the fifth installment of “John Wick”, he will definitely reprise his role in an episode of the upcoming second film of the franchise, “From the World of John Wick: Ballerina”, which will be released in June. The year 2025.
