Herman Hall was a passenger in the southbound Kia Sorento and later died from injuries sustained in the crash. ESPN also reports that the driver of the Cadenza suffered moderate injuries. In addition, authorities allege Lacey drove around the crash and drove away without stopping or reporting her involvement in the accident.

According to ESPN , Kieran Lacey has been charged with negligent homicide, felony hit and run and reckless driving. It is reported that the police contacted the footballer and his lawyer, urging him to come forward.
