Kyle Richards' text messages with PK Kemsley did not start his quarrel with Dorrit Kemsleybut it doesn't help women mend fences.
January 7 episode RHOBA ended with the two women yelling at each other after it was revealed that Kyle had been texting PK after divorcing Dorita. The fight began at the beginning of the Tuesday, January 14 episode, with Kayla directing her texts to PK several times, but never directly to Dorit.
At one point during Tuesday's episode, Kyle read Erica Jane, Sutton Strike and Garcel Beauvais the exact text she sent PK after his divorce announcement became public.
“I know you have a lot of friends, but I'm also alone and here if you need me. I have never repeated anything you have shared with me and never will. (It means you can always trust me),” the text reads. “Let's keep sending memes and I won't forget the laughing emoticons.”
The other woman weighed in during their respective confessions.
“Wait, this isn't just about memes and jokes. It’s serious talk,” Sutton said.
“So they've been sharing things about Dorit or the relationship(s) or whatever that no one else knows about,” Garcella added. “All this time, Kyle is really defending that it's just memes. It's all not true.”
Garcell eventually rephrased Kyle's text message to the newcomer Bozeman St John and a preview for next week's episode showed Bozeman asking Kyle to “please” read the text she sent PK.
“And that's all I said. I'm done now. I'm not going to be made to feel like I did anything wrong,” Kyle said through tears in the clip. speaking directly to Dorit. “I love you and your family. F— everybody, I'm done with this s—. I'm not doing it anymore.”
Kyle previously narrated Us Weekly only in November 2024 about leaving to RHOBA set — which was teased Season 14 trailer.
“Especially that scene, leaving. I just don't feel like myself and I don't feel like I was strong enough,” she shared. “Honestly, to do the show at that time, I just needed a woman to be with me and support me. And obviously I didn't feel it at all, so it just made my situation worse.
During the interview with The Hollywood Reporter posted on Tuesday, Kayla elaborated on her regrets about the moment.
“I regret how I handled it, but I didn't leave. I just didn't have it anymore. I was at a point where I was so depressed, frankly. I'm not a depressed person,” Kyle explained. “I've had anxiety all my life, but never depression, and I really felt like I was struggling with depression, and I was expressing it. And I just felt like I couldn't go into scripts all the time and just have everyone against me.
