Bryce Jamesthe 17 year old son of NBA legend LeBron Jamesrang in the new year with a major update on the future of his basketball career.

In an article from January 1 to InstagramBryce shared a photo of himself donning an Arizona basketball jersey with a caption confirming that he is fully committed to joining the University of Arizona Wildcats.

In November, the teen teased his commitment to school by posting a series of photos on Instagram of himself in Arizona gear, but many users pointed out in the comments that the post was the result of a visit to the university.

Sharing the excitement over Bryce's confirmation is LeBron, who with Bryce shares son Bronny20 years old and her daughter Zhuri10 years old, with wife Savannah James– posted the same image with an emphatic caption and a multitude of emojis.

“BEAR DOWN!!!!!” LeBron wrote, referencing the university's official rallying cry, before referencing his youngest son's middle name by adding, “CONGRATULATIONS Maximus!!”
