Lily Allen recalls Elton John's past 'hurt' over undelivered letter

Recalling his time fronting Elton John on “Miss Me?” podcast, Allen revealed: “I used to be managed by Elton John. He would call me every couple of weeks to check in and say hi and make sure I was OK. And there were times when I wasn't OK.”

The 39-year-old shared that their professional relationship eventually ended, adding: “We parted ways and I wrote this long letter to say how sad I was about the situation, and there was a big Elton-shaped hole in my life.”
