Meghan Markle joins Instagram with a new account for the New Year

Meghan, who described this period of motherhood as a “tender and sacred time”, stressed that protecting yourself from online hate was essential.

“Because I was pregnant, this mammalian instinct kicked in,” she recalls. “You do everything you can to protect your child and, therefore, you protect yourself too.”

But it looks like Meghan was finally ready to make her royal recurrence back on social networks in 2025.
