In a recent Instagram post, Meghan shared a heartfelt video tribute to her beloved beagle, Guy, who recently passed away.

The emotional post paid tribute to Guy and gave followers a rare glimpse into the life of the Sussex family, as the voices of their two children, Archie and Lilibeth, sang softly in the background.

In the adorable clip, Archie can be heard talking to Guy. The five-year-old says softly, “He might fall off,” the dog joins him and Meghan in the back seat as Harry drives.

“He won't fall, don't worry, mommy has him,” reassures Megan. “Thank you for being such a good boy!”

Harry also appears in the montage, cheering Gaius on as they walk along the beach.

“Come on Guy! Good job!” he exclaims. The tribute ends with a sweet family singalong led by Archie or Lilibeth as they sing, “We love you Guy! And we'll be true when you're not around, we're blue!”

Since the video was released, royal fans have been stunned by the pleasant surprise, with some theorizing that the couple plans to show more of the prince and princess moving forward.

Meghan wrote in the caption, “In memory of Guy,” encouraging followers to “adopt, not shop.”

Reflecting on their journey, she said, “In 2015 I adopted a beagle from a dog rescue in Canada. He had been in a kill shelter in Kentucky and had a few days to live. I held him… and fell in love.”.

Meghan continued: “They called him 'the little guy' because he was so small and weak, so I called him 'the guy'. And he was the best guy any girl could ask for.”

The former actress admitted she shed “too many tears to count” as she expressed her gratitude for Guy's years of “unconditional love”.
