Meghan Markle surprises fans with the voice of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibeth

Meghan Markle In an Instagram video featuring the voices of Prince Archie and Princess Lilibeth, shared a heartfelt tribute to their late beagle Guy.

The montage showed Guy snuggling and playing with Megan Prince Harryand joining family activities.

Meghan recalled adopting Guy from a kill shelter in 2015, calling him “the best guy.”

Guy, along with their other dogs Pula and Mama Mia, will appear in Meghan Markle's upcoming Netflix series “With Love, Meghan,” which premieres January 15.

In a recent Instagram post, Meghan shared a heartfelt video tribute to her beloved beagle, Guy, who recently passed away.

The emotional post paid tribute to Guy and gave followers a rare glimpse into the life of the Sussex family, as the voices of their two children, Archie and Lilibeth, sang softly in the background.

In the adorable clip, Archie can be heard talking to Guy. The five-year-old says softly, “He might fall off,” the dog joins him and Meghan in the back seat as Harry drives.

“He won't fall, don't worry, mommy has him,” reassures Megan. “Thank you for being such a good boy!”

Harry also appears in the montage, cheering Gaius on as they walk along the beach.

“Come on Guy! Good job!” he exclaims. The tribute ends with a sweet family singalong led by Archie or Lilibeth as they sing, “We love you Guy! And we'll be true when you're not around, we're blue!”

Since the video was released, royal fans have been stunned by the pleasant surprise, with some theorizing that the couple plans to show more of the prince and princess moving forward.

The montage showed moments of Guy, who will appear in Meghan's upcoming Netflix series 'With Love, Meghan', in bed with her, enjoying cuddles with Harry and keeping the Duchess company during jam-making sessions.

Meghan wrote in the caption, “In memory of Guy,” encouraging followers to “adopt, not shop.”

Reflecting on their journey, she said, “In 2015 I adopted a beagle from a dog rescue in Canada. He had been in a kill shelter in Kentucky and had a few days to live. I held him… and fell in love.”.

Meghan continued: “They called him 'the little guy' because he was so small and weak, so I called him 'the guy'. And he was the best guy any girl could ask for.”

The former actress admitted she shed “too many tears to count” as she expressed her gratitude for Guy's years of “unconditional love”.

She concluded the tribute with the heartfelt words: “You filled my life in ways you will never know.”

In addition to Guy, Meghan and Harry share their home with a black Labrador named Pula and Mama Mia, the second beagle they rescued in 2022.

In December 2024, the couple's royal holiday card featured all three dogs – Guy, Pula and Mama Mia. The photo captures the pups watching as Archie and Lilibeth walk into their parents' arms for a warm family hug.

Next month, Guy made a brief appearance in the trailer for Meghan's new Netflix lifestyle series, “Love, Meghan,” and fans can expect to see more of him during the season.

Reflecting on life with three dogs and two children, Harry joked about the busy household.

“I'm telling you, we all need a dog to calm us down. I've got three in this house now. So basically we have five kids,” the Duke of Sussex said in 2022. Insiders shared that the royal couple are considering taking Archie and Lilibeth to the February 8 event to help promote a new “family-friendly” Invictus game.

According to sources, Harry and Meghan “have been very involved in the organizational aspects of the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler events, and their idea was to make the Games family-friendly so that participants could bring their children.”

If Archie and Lilibeth appear at the Invictus Games, it will mark a significant change for Sussex residents who have been protective of their children's privacy.

The tribute is the third upload on Meghan's Instagram page following the launch of the new Netflix series on her Instagram account, titled “With love, Meghan.”
