After thousands of houses burned down and many more people were evacuated from their homes from areas throughout Los Angeles Stone, 66, shared a post this week via her Instagram on Wednesday, January 8, asking for clothing donations.
Sharing a clip of The Coop distribution center on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles, Stone encouraged her followers to follow her lead by donating “gently used” clothing to “people who have been displaced and affected by the fires.” She added that victims are welcome to “shop” at The Coop for clothing.
Berry, 58, heeded the call and reposted the clip through her your Instagram accountannouncing that they will also be involved with donations.

“I'm packing up my entire closet and going to the COOP! If you live in Southern California, I encourage you to do the same,” the actress captioned the post. “This is what we can do today to help all displaced families who need the basics today! Thank you @sharonstone for your leadership. Love you lady❤️”
In response, Pfeiffer, 66, expressed her willingness to donate, asking in the comments section: “Can I do tomorrow?”
Meanwhile, Stone appeared switched on NewsNation on Wednesday night and shared additional information about The Coop.
“My sister and another friend of ours, a publicist, opened a store, worked with the store on Beverly Boulevard,” she said. “It's called The Coop, so if you have gently used clothes, shoes, bedding or anything that these disenfranchised people may need, please come to The Coop immediately starting tomorrow and you can drop them off .”
She added: “If you need things, go to The Coop. It's for people who need any of those things, please come there. This is where you can get them, it's a distribution center.

“I host friends in my home. I now have families coming to move in with us. We are setting up a place where we can help people. We put the beds in the house and just the room,” Stone said. “We load up trucks and bring everything we have to The Coop and we invite our friends to move in with us here. Many people are being evacuated.”

About 9,000 homes have been damaged or destroyed in the fires, officials said. The Guardian. Fires have ravaged parts of the exclusive Pacific Palisades area, Malibu, Santa Monica and the Hollywood Hills since Tuesday. Celebrities including Billy Crystal, Mandy Moore and Paris Hilton are among those who lost their homes due to the fires.
In recent days, Hollywood has also canceled several events, including premieres Last show girl, wolf man and Jennifer Lopez Unstoppable and The Critics Choice Awards, among others.
