Nina Dobrev reflects on the devastation caused by the Los Angeles wildfires and encourages his fans to do the same.

Instagram mail. “I have been absolutely sick to my stomach with all the devastation and devastation these fires have caused and displaced so many families. Dobrev noted that her house was “close to one of the fires” but eventually “made it.” She added: “But so many others weren't so lucky.”
Dobrev encouraged her followers to donate by adding a spreadsheet in her bio highlighting GoFundMe links for “many families” who lost their homes.
“What people really need right now is financial help to help them get back on their feet and start rebuilding their lives and their homes,” she said. “The Pacific Palisades, especially the Altadena-Pasadena community, need this the most.”
On her birthday, Dobrev donated to a GoFundMe page and said she would love it if her followers could make the same gesture, donations big or small.

“I put myself in the shoes of all these people houses have burned down to the ground with their belongings, their memories, everything that made them feel safe in a world that is now gone, and their insurance dropped them,” Dobrev said. “For some of them, the level of tragedy is immeasurable and it's really hard to fathom. They are have lost everything.”
Dobrev said her heart is broken “into a million pieces” for the families affected by fires. Dobrev ended her video by sharing that she was thinking of those affected, saying, “My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.”
“The devastation in Los Angeles is immeasurable and heartbreaking 💔 This is my plea for help. On my birthday this year, my only wish is for you to help a family in need,” Dobrev captioned her post. “I've donated to families in a Google doc linked in my bio. If you have seen all the pictures and videos online and if you also want to help, please consider donating too. The Altadena community has a special section for black families and other historically marginalized groups that have suffered particularly badly.
