The pop culture icon revealed that her son has become fascinated with firefighters since witnessing their valiant efforts to contain the devastating Palisades Wildfire.

The fires left Paris Hilton and her family devastated as her Malibu beach house went up in flames just a day after the fire broke out.

The socialite was spotted taking her son for a quick stop at Beverly Glen Deli in Los Angeles on Monday, where she revealed he's gotten some clarity on his future ambitions.

According to Hilton, her firstborn, Reum, adores firefighters and emergency responders and wants to be one himself.

Well, the apple doesn't really fall far from the tree. Hilton and her family have shown an enviable dedication to cleaning up the victims of the fire and contributing financially to the cause.

The star was one of the first celebrities to lose their homes shortly after the fires started and spread through Los Angeles' top neighborhoods, including Pacific Palisades and Altadena.

Hilton shared that she took in a foster pet, identified as Zuzu, who was surrendered by her owners after they lost everything in a fire. She said, “We're all in love with him. So, we're going to adopt him.”

She also encouraged anyone interested to join the program and adopt or foster a pet through the Pasadena Humane Society or another local shelter because help is urgently needed.

Hilton ended the chat with TMZ sending love and well wishes to Spencer Pratt and his wife, Heidi Montag, who lost their home in the fire. She offered to work with them on any project that could help them get back on their feet.

The sweet mom bravely ventured out to see the remains of the once spacious Malibu beach house where she lived and made memories with her family.

“I'm standing here where our home used to be and the heartbreak is truly indescribable. When I first saw the news I was in complete shock – I couldn't process it. But now standing here and seeing it with my own eyes, it feels like my heart is shattered into a million pieces,” the business magnate began.

She described her home as a place where she and her family “dreamed, laughed and made the most beautiful memories as a family.”

Hilton, who has a son and daughter, London Marilyn, with husband Carter Rum, recalled that home was where her son's “little hands created art” that she will cherish forever.

She described the home as her sanctuary where “love and life filled every corner” and to see it reduced to ashes was “devastating beyond words”. The DJ sympathized with other people who have lost their homes, saying:

“It's not just walls and roofs – it's the memories that made these houses a home. They're photographs, keepsakes, irreplaceable pieces of our lives.”

Despite her loss, Hilton admitted that she considered herself lucky that she and her family made it to safety.

“And yet in this pain, I know that I am incredibly lucky. My loved ones, my babies and my pets are safe. That is the most important thing and I hold on to that gratitude with everything I have,” she wrote.

The reality star praised “all the firefighters, first responders and volunteers who risk their lives to fight these fires.” She also thanked everyone who sent her “love, prayers and kindness,” saying their actions give her hope that despite the chaos, there is still so much beauty to be seen in the world.

Hilton concluded her caption by encouraging everyone to realize that “life can change in an instant and the love we share is what really matters.”

An explosion reported that the influencer informed the public that she and her family were sheltering some families who had lost their homes in the fire.

“We collected essentials and gifts for the displaced families we've hosted at the @Hilton Montebello. My heart goes out to them and I'll never forget being able to bring comfort and smiles to their faces,” the TV personality wrote.

She also kept busy volunteering at animal shelters and caring for animals left behind by runaway families. In the process, a displaced dog tugged at her heartstrings, and Hilton shared that she decided to foster it.

“Fostering is such an important way to help when you can — if you can, please consider giving temporary or permanent homes to animals in need,” the heiress shared.

The celebrity DJ was devastated when she saw on the news that her beloved home had been destroyed by fire. She shared the heartbreaking clip on her Instagram feed, announcing:

“Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live television is something no one should ever have to experience.”

However, she was grateful for the gift of having family and pets around her. “Although the loss is overwhelming, I remain grateful that my family and pets are safe,” she wrote.

“My heart and prayers go out to every family affected by these fires. To all the people who have lost their homes, memories and beloved pets. My heart goes out to those who are still devastated or grieving greater losses,” Hilton. added.

Since the fires began, Hilton has raised more than $800,000 through her nonprofit 11:11 Media Impact to provide direct monetary assistance to families affected by the fire.
