There are some Married to medicine ongoing mess involving Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Phaedra Parks. After the dentist questioned whether the lawyer kept his promise to donate $47,000 to Dr. Jackie's Medical Gala, Phaedra posted receipts, but for a different amount than mentioned.
On Sunday's episode of Married to medicineviewers saw the second annual Med Gala aimed at raising money for 4Kira4Moms, a nonprofit focused on the Black maternal mortality rate.
The Mother Nature's Enchanted Garden themed party was hosted by Dr. Jackie with Phaedra as co-chair before Dr. Heavenly was named co-co-chair of the gala due to concerns over party planning by Phaedra.
Jackie said in a confessional that Phaedra hasn't been very helpful and hasn't contributed to the fundraiser yet.
After a fundraiser that included a $4,000 donation for a date with Phaedra, the gala raised $53,430, which was extremely far from the $100,000 goal Phaedra had told Jackie she would help him achieve.
With that, Phaedra said she would pay the remaining balance of $47,000.
After the episode, Dr. Heavenly sent Shade Phaedra Parks. YouTube. According to Heavenly, Phaedra actually owes $51,000 for the gala, and because she didn't pay, 4Kira4Moms fell short of the $100,000 promised to the organization.
“The problem I have with anything as a professional, you all wrote this man a check for $100,000 and his check is no good today.”
She also alleged that the man who said he would pay $4,000 for a date with Phaedra was told he was just being used as a prop and asked for a refund when his card was charged for the total amount.
“Phaedra just said, 'Deal with it,'” Heavenly claims she told the suitor. “It just shows you how Phaedra moves, obviously Phaedra just used this man as a prop.
After hearing Heavenly's accusations, Phaedra posted receipts on her Instagram, including a check she wrote for $35,006.70.
Phew!
Dr. Heavenly has since responded to Phaedra Parks' posting of the receipts, which has taken over.
Although Phaedra showed a receipt for the check, Dr. Heavenly told her X followers that the check Phaedra produced the night of the gala was “not good.”
According to the dentist, Phaedra paid a month later.
“It was a month later, the $100,000 check she wrote was no good that night! Keep watching! I'm happy that a great cause has finally been paid for. Kudos to her for paying. #Married2med #DrHeavenly #TeamDaddy”
What a mess.
