When you're a parent, sometimes you have to get creative to make things work.
Brittany Mahomes29, proved this when she shared via her Instagram story on Wednesday, Jan. 1, how she managed to squeeze in a workout while pregnant and with two young children.
In the clip, the heavily pregnant star can be seen doing reps with dumbbells while daughter Sterling, three, sits on her mom's head in pink pajamas.
Meanwhile, Brittany's son Bronze, 2, looks on from the floor.
Heavily pregnant Brittany is expecting her third child with her NFL star husband Patrick Mahomes “any day now” and her tracksuit showed off her blooming baby bump.
Brittany and Patrick, 29, announced they were getting engaged in July to expect baby No. 3. “Round three here we come,” they shared in a joint Instagram post at the time.
Patrick offered a postgame update on his wife's pregnancy on Christmas Day after he and the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Pittsburgh Steelers, telling postgame reporters that Brittany going into labor “any day now”.
“Brittany says I've pushed her too hard this season,” Patrick added. “So, I have to try not to stress her out so much at these soccer games — and say goodbye.”
The couple first met as teenagers in high school, before engagement 2020 after eight years together. They later became friends in March 2022.
Patrick has revealed that their third child is the couple's latest addition to the family, telling reporters in July that his family will then be complete.
“I said three and I'm done,” the quarterback told reporters at the Kansas City Chiefs' training camp press conference. “I always wanted the kids to be young. I had to grow up in the dressing room and it had such an impact on my life. We're on our third child now. … Brittany is doing great and we're still going out and enjoying our lives.
Patrick has also previously praised his wife, congratulating Brittany on her parenting skills.
“I think people don't even realize how much she does,” the athlete said in an appearance on the Impaulsive podcast in May. “I mean, take care of the day-to-day stuff and make it so that I can focus on football and focus on my job and everything like that.”
He added: “(She's) a Hall of Fame mom and a Hall of Fame wife, (which) makes it a lot easier. I think when you come home and your best friend is there and you can just hang out, it makes you want to to be there all the time and she pushes me to be great and she has done a lot of great things herself.
