Prince William wrote a birthday message fit for a princess.
In honor of Kate MiddletonOn January 9, to mark his wife's 43rd birthday, the Prince of Wales paid a rare and personal tribute to his wife.
“To the most amazing wife and mother,” the 42-year-old shared along with a photo of herself on the couple's official social media platforms. “The strength you have shown over the past year has been remarkable. George, Charlotte, Louis and I'm so proud of you. Happy birthday Catherine. We love you. W.”
Alongside the birthday message was a never-before-seen photo of Kate, from the family photoshoot taken by Matt Porteous last summer, showing her smiling and relaxed as she posed against the wall in dark jeans and a white blouse that she layered with a dark blazer and scarf.
William's touching post marks the first time he has opted for a more personal birthday message on social media, rather than a general birthday wish. However, the couple has many things to celebrate this year.
