Priscilla Presley remember your daughter Lisa Marie Presleyon the second anniversary of her death.

Lisa Marie died of a heart attack in January 2023. She was 53 years old. She was laid beside her son, Benjaminwho died by suicide in 2020, at her father Elvis PresleyGraceland Estate Memphis, Tennessee. Elvis is also buried there.
Daughter of Liza Maria, actress Riley Keoughalso took a moment to remember his mom on Sunday. Sharing a picture of young Lisa Marie with her teenage daughters Finley and Harper, 16, she wrote: “2 years ❤️I love you always.” She captioned another photo: “I can't believe it's been 2 years. I miss you and love you so much mom.”
Last year, Keough completed and posthumous published a memoir Lisa Marie worked before her death. From here to the great unknown was published in October 2024.
Keo, 35, shared details about her mom's last decade in the book.
“In the years before her death, my mother Lisa Marie Presley began writing her memoirs. Although she tried different approaches and did many book interviews, she couldn't figure out how to write about herself,” Keough wrote in the book's introduction. “She didn't think she was interesting, although of course she was. She didn't like to talk about herself. She was insecure. “
Keo added: “She wasn't sure what her value was to society, other than being Elvis' daughter. She was so self-critical that it made the book incredibly difficult for her. I don't think she fundamentally understood how or why her story must be told.

According to Daisy Jones and The Six actress, Presley still had a “burning desire” to share her story.
“After she became extremely frustrated, she said to me, 'Pookie, I don't know how to write my book anymore.' Can you write it with me?” Keough recalled. “Sure I can,” I said.
She continued: “The last 10 years of her life were so brutally difficult that she could only look back on everything through that lens. She felt that I might have a more holistic view of her life than she did. So I agreed to help her without much thought of commitment , assuming that in time we would write it together. A month later she died.”
