Rachel Kirkconnell sister Trinity has shed new light on her sibling's shock split with Matt James.
Bachelor the pair were together for four years before James, 33, announced his call-up via Instagram this week – just one day after sharing loved-up news with Rachel, 28, from a trip to London.
The timing left fans scratching their heads, including a TikTok sleuth Gabby Whitewho shared the video via social media platform on Friday, January 17, sharing speculation as to why divorce played as it happened.
“The last thing I will say, which is the strangest thing to me, is that I know Contents of London was probably sponsored,” she said in the video. “He's probably contractually obligated to post it, but it's the weirdest time between posting a nice post, being so cute and liking in the comments, going public together, and literally 12 hours later posting this insanely worded part of me.”
The video prompted one follower to respond in the comments section: “The old London stuff makes sense if it was sponsored, but it seems like he could have edited her out or didn't like/respond to comments about her in these posts.”
In a new update, Trinity responded to a comment asking when her sister and James' relationship ended.
“Yep they were still together when he posted all this… just to give some perspective on the timeline of things,” Trinity wrote.
Follow-up TikTok news of White revealed that Trinity claimed that James uploaded the breakup record just three hours after the couple broke up.

James announced his split from Rachel via Instagram in the early hours of Thursday, January 16.
“Father God, give us and Rachel the strength to mend our broken hearts. Give us peace about this decision to end our relationship that is beyond worldly understanding,” James wrote alongside a photo of himself and Rachel on The Bachelor Season 25.
Tagging Rachel in the post, James added: “Show our friends and family kindness and love to comfort us. And remind us that our joy comes from You, Lord 💔.
James chose Rachel as his Bachelor in season 25, which aired in early 2021. However, in March of that year, after the final rose special, James announced that they had split after Rachel's past racially insensitive activities resurfaced on social media. The couple reconciled after a month.
After the post, some Bachelor fans questioned whether Rachel's divorce was “dragging.”
Source told Us Weekly On Friday, January 17, it wasn't the split itself that blindsided Rachel, but James' statement and post.
